Medium close up, front view, dynamic leadership and devotion to people led to the selection of Brigadier General Steven A. Roser, USAF, Commander, 60th Air Mobility Wing, Travis Air Force Base, California, and his wife, Linda, as the 1999 General and Mrs. Jerome F. O'Malley Award winners. This annual award is presented by the USAF CHIEF of STAFF to the best wing commander and spouse team in the service. This was the second year the Rosers' have represented Air Mobility Command at the Air Force level. The selection was based on the Rosers' accomplishments for the Travis Team, Travis AFB, CA., and at Charleston AFB, South Carolina
