Members from the Nebraska National Guard unload their equipment after arriving in several KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft at Muñiz Air National Guard Base prior to their preparation for Operation Borinqueneer Response from March 16-20 at various locations throughout Puerto Rico. This U.S. Northern Command and National Guard Bureau sponsored training is a special focus event for the Puerto Rico National Guard. It will consist of a series of training exercises designed to evaluate and enhance the readiness of the National Guard in performing state roles and responsibilities when working with other Guards, local and state civilian and military emergency response agencies.
