Summary
Multiple Nations participate in a closing ceremony for exercise Croix Du Sud at Noumea, New Caledonia, May 25, 2018. The exercise, hosted by the French, is a multi-national humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, a non-combatant evacuation operation and a stability and security operations field training exercise. The Marines are a part of Marine Rotational Force - Darwin, established by former U.S. President Barack Obama and former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard in 2011 to build and strengthen partnerships in the Pacific region.
