Navy Counselor First Class (NC-1) Cheryl Ann Cassarella is shown providing a sailor with career information. PETTY Officer Cassarella will become one of 59 other Navy women who break new ground as they embark on board the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN-69) as the first Navy women permanently assigned to a combatant ship.
