Nederland, Colo., October 16,2013 -- Nolan Schmidt, a FEMA Corps Disability Communications Specialist, demonstrates a hearing enhancement device that be used by a hearing impaired or voice disabled individual to FEMA Individual Specialists at a Disaster Recovery Center in Nederland, Colo. FEMA provides a variety of services to insure that all residents are able to register and to get information they need to assist with their recovery from recent flooding.
