New Orleans, La., June 21, 2011 -- Jackson Barracks, located in New Orleans' Lower 9th Ward, is the headquarters of the Louisiana National Guard. The historic Jackson Barracks suffered damages during Hurricane Katrina. FEMA has since provided $114.4 million to the State of Louisiana's Facility Planning and Control and $27.6 million to the Military Dept. of the State of Louisiana for repairs to the facility.
