New Recruits assigned to the 1ST Battalion of the Afghanistan National Army (ANA) practice security tactics during urban training conducted at Kabul, Afghanistan, during Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. The training program conducted by US Army (USA) Soldiers assigned to 1ST Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (SFG), is designed to establish the core of the new ANA, that will foster a safe, secure and stable environment in Afghanistan and will help to prevent the re-emergence of terrorist forces
