New York, N.Y., Dec. 3, 2012 -- A New York City Restoration Center in the Bronx, which is partnered with FEMA's Disaster Recovery Center is open to assist residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy. The centers are set up to provide residents with information about applying for FEMA assistance and to get information about other programs that may be available if impacted by the storm. There is additional information at the centers for Food and Nutrition Assistance, NYC Rapid Repairs, Health and Medical Benefits, Business Restoration, Counseling Services, Financial Assistance and Personal Records and Information.
