On board the nuclear powered aircraft carrier USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73), two F-14B Tomcats (right) from Fighter Attack Squadron One Zero Two (VF-102) are prepared to launch as an ES-3A Viking (left) from Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron Six (VQ-6) launches from the GEORGE WASHINGTON. Also on the flight deck is an EA-6B Prowler and two F/A-18C Hornets of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron Two Five One (VMFA-251 The aircraft carrier and her embarked Carrier Air Wing One (CVW-1) are currently conducting operations in the Persian Gulf to enforce the no-fly zone over Iraq, in support of UN sanctions under Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, 21 November 1997
