Pfc. Johnathan C. Edwards a infantry rifleman from Reidsville, N.C. with I Co, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines (3/3) patrols down a highway in Zaidon, Iraq on December 2, 2007. I Co conducts a dwell operation to collect census information and conduct security patrols in Zaidon , Iraq. Regimental Combat Team 6 is deployed with Multi National Forces-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq to develop Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
