Description: Positioned in front of the aft flight deck onorbit station, STS-35 Mission Specialist (MS) John M. Lounge makes a notation as he observes payload bay (PLB) activities through aft flight deck viewing window W9. Overhead is window W7. During the mission, Lounge, along with four other astronauts and two payload specialists, is monitoring the Astronomy Laboratory 1 (ASTRO-1) PLB experiments aboard Columbia, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 102. This image was selected by the Public Affairs Office (PAO) for public release.
