Description: The blue and white Earth forms the backdrop for this scene of the Spacelab Life Sciences (SLS-1) module in the cargo bay of the Earth-orbiting Columbia. The view was photographed through Columbia's aft flight deck windows with a handheld Rolleiflex camera. Seven crewmembers spent nine days in space aboard Columbia. Part of the tunnel/airlock system that linked them to the SLS-1 module is seen in center foreground.
