Description: A view of the Tethered Satellite System 1 (TSS-1) in the payload bay of the shuttle orbiter Atlantis during the STS-46 mission. Visible are the Langmuir Probe, the SSA 454 Ring, Satellite Deployment Boom and the top-starboard half of the satellite itself. Also visible are an Orbital Maneuvering System (OMS) pod, the vertical tail and an earth limb.
