Description: During STS-46 operations, Payload Commander Jeffrey A. Hoffman poses in front of window W10 on the aft flight deck of the Atlantis, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 104. The Tethered Satellite System 1 (TSS-1) satellite appears in the window and is extended beyond the deployer system's boom on the end of a dielectric Kevlar cord (tether). Later the TSS-1 satellite will be reeled back into Atlantis' payload bay (PLB).
