Description: Photographic documentation of the Tethered Satellite System 1 (TSS-1) on its extended boom seen through windows W7 and W9 on the aft flight deck of Atlantis, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 104 during the STS-46 mission. Also visible is an earth limb, the shuttle's vertical tail and Orbital Maneuvering System (OMS) and the TSS-1's support structure in the payload bay. A 35mm camera with a 16mm lens was used to take this picture.
