Description: During STS-46 operations, the Tethered Satellite System 1 (TSS-1) satellite is extended beyond the deployer system's boom. Visible in the image is the a dielectric Kevlar cord (tether), the docking ring and the extendible boom. The moon can be seen in the image. Later the TSS-1 satellite will be reeled back into Atlantis', Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 104's, payload bay (PLB). The reflection through the window caused the objects in the image to appear twice.
