Salvadoran sailors participate in rifle marksmanship
Summary
Sgt. Geormon Elder supervises a firing line of Salvadoran sailors during rifle marksmanship instruction. The sailors are among the first students of Southern Partnership Station, a military-to-military training mission to Central America, South America and the Caribbean Basin based aboard high-speed vessel Swift. Southern Partnership Station is comprised of Navy, Marine Corps and Naval Criminal Investigative Service training teams and translators to provide instruction to partner nations in various subjects such as port security, small boat maintenance, combat lifesaving and enlisted leadership.
