Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB)

Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1’s Detail Okinawa Camp Maintenance department receive a tour of the P-8 Poseidon from Patrol Squadron (VP) 16 Sailors. NMCB 1 is currently deployed to the Pacific Area of Operations supporting ongoing construction and humanitarian operations at several detail site including Korea, Timor-Leste, Cambodia, Philippines, Guam, Diego Garcia and Japan. The battalion will also deploy Sailors to participate in the upcoming bilateral and multi-lateral exercises Pacific Partnership Station, Balikatan and CARAT.
