Sgt. Garrett Deffert (left) , Sgt. Juan Valdez, Cpl. Breanna Dill, and Sgt. Faustino Alonzo, all from Wounded Warrior Battalion - West, begin the 50-meter freestyle during the mini-meet portion of training to simulate a competitive swim meet during the fourth and final day of the Wounded Warrior Regiment's Warrior Athlete Reconditioning Program Swim Camp, July 19, 2013, at the Wounded Warrior Battalion - West Hope and Care Center aboard Camp Pendleton, Ca. The Swim Camp is designed to provide refinement and improvement of swim technique, regardless of skill level, for the 18 Wounded Warrior participants. Four professional swim coaches are on-hand to facilitate the training and instruction which is focused on developing each individual's ability.
