Sgt. Michael Rottier, the training Non-commissioned officer for the Provost Marshal’s Office, sprays the inside of an M9 pistol’s barrel after it was fired during the pistol qualification on Aug. 6, 2015, at Kaneohe Bay Range Training Facility. There were 32 Marines entering the program and firing in the qualification course. The Fleet Assistance Program helps Marine Corps Base Hawaii’s subordinate units by providing personnel, which furthers the base’s mission by providing facilities, programs and services in direct support of units, individuals and families.
