Sgt. Nicole Aboko-Cole, 7th Signal Company, Special Troops Battalion, Task Force Resolute, takes the oath of the Corps of Non-commissioned Officers with her fellow newly inducted non-commissioned officers May 11 on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, during the non-commissioned officer induction ceremony. The ceremony symbolizes a rite of passage into the Corps and allows fellow non-commissioned officers of a unit to build and develop a cohesive bond, support team development and serve as a legacy for future non-commissioned officer induction ceremonies.
