Soldiers from Powidz, Poland, take part in a rally held by Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland, with special guests Vice President Mike Pence, and second lady Karen Pence at the 1st Airlift Base Warsaw, in Warsaw, Poland, Feb. 13.
The 252nd Support Maintenance Company, Indiana National Guard, and other American and Polish soldiers in attendance were recognized by the vice president in his speech.
“You come from the rest of us, you are the best of us,” said Pence. “The American people are grateful of each and every one of you.”
At the conclusion of his speech, the vice president greeted each Soldier of the Indiana National Guard.
