South Carolina Soldiers Join Vice Admiral and Afghan National Police in Distributing Humanitarian Aid to Afghan Children

Soldiers from Civil Military Operations, 1-178th Field Artillery Battalion, South Carolina Army National Guard, joined Navy Vice Adm. Robert S. Harward (Front Center), Commander, Joint Task Force 435, and the Afghan National Police at a humanitarian assistance drop at the Badam Bagh Women's Correction's Center in Kabul Province, July 8. Harward and the 1-178th Field Artillery Battalion soldiers were there to donate and distribute clothes and blankets to the 170 children who live at the facility.
