Spc. Devin A. Tejada from Hopkinsville, Ky., a mortarman with Company A, 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment based out of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, sets up his mortar tube in preparation for live fire during Orient Shield 12. Soldiers participated in bilateral training with Japanese Defense Force Members at Aibano Training Area near Imazu City, Japan, as a part of Orient Shield 12, a bilateral tactical field training exercises in which the two forces exchange tactics, techniques, and procedures at the lowest level.
