Spc. John Jackson, right, a health care specialist with 48th Combat Support Hospital at Fort Meade, Md., gets vitals for a patient at the Innovative Readiness Training exercise Appalachian Mountain IRT 2014 in Cumberland, Md., Aug. 13, 2014. Service members from the Navy, Army and Army Reserve are able to train in a joint environment while providing medical care to patients during the exercise. Service members perform medical, dental, optical and veterinary care for the communities in the Allegany County region at Allegany County Fairgrounds from Aug. 13 to Aug. 21.
