Special Agent Ronald Bowling with the 383rd Military Police Detachment (CID), prepares to neutralize a mock active-shooter incident during Capital Shield, Sept. 8. Both active and reserve components of the Army's Criminal Investigation Command gathered at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, September 5-9, 2017. Capital Shield’s key training events included crime scene and intelligence management, hostage and crisis negotiation and evidence processing.
