Staff Sgt. Dennie A. Mason, Biloxi, Miss., of Headquarters Support Company, 890th Engineer Battalion, competes in the combat stress fire portion of the Mississippi Army National Guard's 2013 Best Warrior Competition, held February 18-22 at Camp McCain, Miss. Twelve soldiers faced a wide range of events designed to evaluate their Army aptitude. Events included a written test, Army Physical Fitness Test, M-4 rifle and M-9 pistol qualification, combat stress shoot, engagement skills trainer, land navigation, combative competition, obstacle course and Senior Noncommissioned Officer Interview Board.
