Staff Sgt. Ross A. Murphy (left), a Raleigh, N.C., native serving as a platoon sergeant in Company B, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade directs a radio operator from the Estonian Defense Forces’ Single Scouts Infantry Battalion during an air assault training mission held Aug. 22-24 in Paldiski, Estonia. The three-day exercise also featured several 12th Combat Aviation Brigade UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters and is part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, an exercise dedicated to demonstrating commitment to NATO obligations and maintaining interoperability with allied forces.
