Description: Photographic documentation of Mission Specialist Marsha Ivins working with the Commercial Generic Bioprocessing Apparatus (CGBA) aboard the Space Shuttle Columbia during STS-62. The CGBA is a generic research tool to support life sciences research in biophysics, cellular and developmental biology, and physiology. On STS-62 the CGBA supported 15 separate commercial life science investigations, classified as biomedical testing and drug development, controled ecological life support system (CELSS), and agricultural development and manufacture of biological-based materials.
