Description: STS-103 mission specialist Claude Nicollier (on the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) arm) and mission specialist Michael Foale (broken red stripes on his EMU) begin preparations for replacement and installation of the Fine Guidance Sensor (FGS) in the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). They begin by removing the new FGS from the Forward Scientific Instrument Protecive Enclosure (FSIPE). The old FGS can be seen tethered to the orbiter port sill.
