The Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson U.S. Army and Air

The Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson U.S. Army and Air Force work together to demonstrate infiltration, seizing and commanding an airfield with Army paratroopers and the C-17 Globemaster during the Arctic Thunder Open House. This bienneial event hosted by Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, is historically the largest two-day event in the state and one of the premier aerial demonstrations in the world. The event features more than 40 key performers and ground acts to include the JBER joint forces, U.S. Air Force F-22, and U.S. Navy Blue Angels demonstrations teams, July 30-31.
