The Knox class training frigate USS AINSWORTH (FFT-1090) intercepts the Haitian bound Honduran-flagged merchant vessel BLACK EAGLE in the windward passage about 15 miles west of Haiti for the 100th boarding of a ship since the United Nations embargo went into place on October 18th. The AINSWORTH is part of Combined Joint Task Force 120 which is assigned to carry out Operation Support Democracy. The AINSWORTH is permanently assigned to Naval Surface Group Six and carries a SH-60 Seahawk light airborne multipurpose system (LAMPS) Mark I helicopter detachment
