The US Air Force (USAF) 48th Fighter Wing (FW) Honor Guard marches during a Battle of Britain ceremony as they pay their respects to those who lost their lives in the battle. During World War II (WWII) the Luftwaffe, Germany's Air Force, began its attack on July 10, 1940, unleashing its bombers against British shipping and fighter sweeps over Britain's southern coast in what would become known as The Battle of Britain
