TRINCOMALEE, Sri Lanka (Nov. 25, 2016) Sri Lankan Navy performing arts sailors perform cultural dances for U.S. Marines during a Theater Security Cooperation engagement at Sri Lanka Naval Base, Trincomalee, Nov. 25, 2016. The event was an opportunity for the Marines to witness some of Sri Lanka’s culture and unique traditions. The 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet’s area of responsibility in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
