Tuxedo native sworn in as Third Army IG

Col. Laureen M. Barone [left], Tuxedo native and new Third Army Inspector General, and Lt. Col. Jacqueline Jean-Philippe, Detailed Inspector General, are administered the Oath of Office by Lt. Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, Third Army Commanding General, here July 23. As Third Army IG, Barone will help keep leaders accountable for what they say, remind leaders what Third Army stands for and what the Third Army mission is requiring. Third Army is currently taking the lead in the drawdown in Iraq and helping meet the presidential direction for Afghanistan.
