U.S. Air Force Col. Jason E. Corrothers, 737th Training Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. James A. Roy, Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force, CMSAF retired, stand at attention during a basic military training graduation, May 17, 2019, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Roy was selected the 16th CMSAF on June 2009. JBSA-Lackland is often referred to as the "Gateway to the Air Force," graduating about 39,000 Airmen annually.
