Maintenance crew members work on the tail rotor of a Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 264 (HMM-264) CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter aboard the combat stores hip USS SAN DIEGO (AFS-6). The helicopter will be used during vertical replenishment operations between the SAN DIEGO and the amphibious assault ship USS GUADALCANAL (LPH-7). Supplies will later be transferred ashore for use by Marines taking part in Operation Provide Comfort, an Allied effort to aid Kurdish refugees who fled the forces of Saddam Hussein in northern Iraq
