U.S. Army LTC Nichole Downs discusses and confirms what personal property she has to be moved prior to contracted movers packing her items June 12, 2019. After her items are packed they will depart for the final destination. Recently U.S. Transportation Command took over the responsibility for the Department of Defense's Personal Property Program (DP3). USTRANSCOM now acts as the sole negotiator, worldwide, with commercial firms on rates and other matters incidental to shipment and storage services for all personal property.
