Summary

US Army Task Force Tiger Shark, the aviation unit for US Army Task Force Wolfhounds flies an Apache helicopter as part of a joint live fire exercise between US Army and TNI- AD aviation. The joint mission showcased Apache helicopters from both armies maneuvering and eliminating targets with live rounds including 30mm gun rounds, 2 Hellfire missiles and 2.75 inch rockets. The live fire exercise was a part of Garuda Shield 19.
Garuda Shield is an annual, bilateral military exercise sponsored by the U.S. Army Pacific and hosted annually by Tentara Nasional Indonesia. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
