U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Christian White, a patrol supervisor
Summary
U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Christian White, a patrol supervisor with the Provost Marshal’s Office, fires an X26 Taser during Taser Certification Training at Marine corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Nov. 31, 2016. The 50,000 volts produced by the X26 Taser causes neuromuscular incapacitation where the subject’s muscles contract and lock up, making the individual unable to move. The training provided Marines the opportunity to understand how to operate the X26 Taser and learn the effectiveness of their equipment. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Aaron Henson)
