U.S. Navy Adm. Mike Mullen CHIEF of Naval Operations (CNO), on Nov. 27, 2006, announces the naming of the Arleigh Burke class guided-missile destroyer DDG 108 as USS WAYNE E. MEYER, in Moorestown, N.J., at a ceremony celebrating the deliverance of the 100th Aegis weapons system to the Navy. The ship was named after retired Rear Adm.
