U.S. Navy Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Equipment) 3rd Class Kristina Stewart uses a flashlight to paint bare metal on the landing gear of an F/A-18 Hornet aircraft during red-light maintenance onboard the Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76) on Nov. 15, 2006. Red-light maintenance is one of the many jobs Sailors perform as the ship conducts flight operations well into the night. The REAGAN is currently conducting training squadron carrier qualifications off the coast of Southern California.
