U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal 2nd Class Cody Wilcoxson, an individual augmentee for the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), marks the location of a metal hit with a CHIA metal detector prior to excavation in the Xiangkhoang Province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, March 5, 2016. Members of the DPAA deployed to the area in hopes of recovering the remains of a pilot unaccounted for during the Vietnam War era.
