US Navy (USN) Female Sailors from the Aircraft Carrier, USS JOHN F. Two hundred and thirty-five JFK Sailors ran in the race and more than 2,000 people from various businesses in the city participated in the fundraiser and the festivities. The proceeds are donated to the Blue Cross / Blue Shield's, Northeast Child Abuse Prevention Program.
