US Navy (USN) Firemen (FN) Steven Irwin (left), and Chance Brooks weld stanchions to a potable freshwater manifold in the machine shop aboard the Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier USS HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN 75). The manifold will distribute drinking water during the hurricane relief efforts in the Gulf Coast. The Navy's involvement in the Hurricane Katrina Humanitarian Assistance Operations is led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense (DoD).
