U.S. soldiers with A Company, 412th Aviation Support

U.S. soldiers with A Company, 412th Aviation Support Battalion, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, along with German Bundeswehr soldiers, conduct a vehicle search Nov. 14, 2013, at the Oberdachstetten Local Training Area. This practical exercise was the culmination of a three day German-American partnership training event on the proper manning of an entry control point. During the exercise, the Soldiers were required to search both passengers and vehicles for contraband prior to granting them access to the simulated forward operating base. The Oberdachstetten LTA is just one of the many LTAs operated by the Training Support Activity Europe to provide both U.S. Army Europe and partner nation soldiers with the ability to perform rigorous, realistic and relevant home-station training that enhances their combat readiness.
