Summary
Utah National Guard 85th WMD Civil Support Team participates in a training scenario Nov. 4, 2014, at U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground during Vigilant Guard regional earthquake response exercise. This scenario was that, during a massive, statewide earthquake, a container of VX "nerve gas" was spilled inside a Dugway lab. The 85th WMD CST responded to assess the extent and danger of the spill. The vehicle easily carries equipment, reduces fatigue and allows for quicker extraction if there is a problem or a member is injured. In the background is the decontamination line.
