Hurricane/Tropical Storm - New Orleans, La. , April 5, 2011 -- St. Mary's Academy, an all-girls Catholic school in New Orleans East, was heavily damaged by four to six feet of floodwaters from Katrina. The replacement costs for the 11 buildings were combined into one alternate, consolidated project to create a new school. FEMA has obligated almost $56. 5 million toward temporary facilities, contents and permanent construction. FEMA/Ray Perez
