Shown is the 4-inch water line belonging to the AABWS (Amphibious Assault Bulk Water System) from the Steam Ship (SS) Obregon (T-AK 3006). This system was part of the instream offload of USMC Maritime Prepositioning Ships (MPS) operation in, as part of BALTIC CHALLENGE '97. BALTIC CHALLENGE is a multinational exercise conducted in the spirit of NATO's Partnership for Peace (PfP) initiative.
