Held outside the headquarters of the American task force, with some 50 troops in attendance, Navy Chaplain Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) John Franklin, the CABANAS 2001 Chaplain eulogized the victims of the vicious terrorist attacks on the United States. Several hundred US troops still in Salta, Argentina await transportation home, after CABANAS 2001, a multinational peacekeeping exercise that ended September 11, 2001. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
